Flying Beyond Earth: On An Extraterrestrial Craft

Flying Beyond Earth: On An Extraterrestrial Craft

My Journey To An Earth Like Planet

In 2023, I had what some would call an “Abduction”. I found myself aboard an enormous, brilliantly lit futuristic ship. I couldn’t make out its exterior, but the inside? It was vast, like an entire town floating in space. Everything gleamed sterile white, with long rows of bench style seating, and it was filled with other humans. Not just a few, dozens, maybe hundreds.

There was something childlike in the way I felt, sitting there. Not naive, just free. I remember leaning ahead and realizing I could actually stick my head out of the “window.” The breeze hit me right away. It was cool and damp. It felt like the air that hangs on a misty, post storm morning. It carried a strange scent, like a blend of lightning, eggs, and faint smoke. It didn’t scare me. It felt… real. Like I was breathing in a world between worlds.

I noticed a soft light encircling the ship, moving along its surface. That light wasn’t just for show, it was generating the atmosphere around us.

Then, clear as day but without any sound, I heard a voice in my head: Please be seated.

Everyone moved in unison. We had no seat belts, yet somehow, we were held firmly in place. And then it happened, the field around us, not the ship itself, seemed to pull back. Like the world outside paused and rewound in reverse.

And then… it let go. We surged ahead. Within moments, we were passing Saturn.

Saturn was still far off, but I could see it in haunting clarity, gray, massive, majestic. I wondered silently who the pilot of this advanced craft could be. The moment the thought entered my mind, a screen emerged from one of the walls.

On it appeared the commander.

His appearance? Think Tron uniform. Slick and stylized, and he was humanoid but enhanced. He didn’t speak, but his presence filled the space with authority and calm.

And then we landed. On a planet.

It was colossal, like it could’ve swallowed fifty Earths without a trace. Yet it wasn’t barren. It was covered in soft, endless grass. The grass rolled across cliffs that stretched so high and wide. They seemed to go on forever in all directions. There were no trees, no buildings, just cliffs, clouds, sky, and that rich, endless green.

Other humans stepped out beside me, but something told me we weren’t random. We had been selected. Handpicked for something. We were calm, curious, none of us afraid.

To this day, this is the abduction experience that’s stayed with me the most. There was no fear. Only awe. It was the kind of memory that leaves a permanent, sacred mark on your soul.

That planet? It didn’t feel like a dream. It felt like a promise.

It felt like… the next place.
